Welcome to the FitzRandolph Website.
We haven't had an update for a while, but we haven't had a blizzard either. What we have here is a quick look at the Blizzard of 06.
This first picture is one of Bebo in the back yard. One thing to remember through our tour is that before the snow started to fall, there was NO snow on the ground at all. Nada. Nil. It is now over her shoulders. This next picture shows Madra in the back yard, looking around for the pesky squirrel that she just KNOWS is somewhere. And here we have one more, of both dogs.
These next pictures show the back of the house (check out the snow overhang from the lower roof), and the front of the house. If you look carefully, you can actually see the tops of the candy-cane lights that run up the sidewalk. As you can see, we had somewhere between 20 and 30 inches of snow. Just enough to make it hard for a neighbor to get his car out (or to even FIND his car). The only reason we were able to get out of the neighborhood was that we had a kind neighbor who was willing to be a human snow-plow.
And just in case you have forgotten who WE are, here we have Kelly shoveling the back deck (notice the PILES of snow on the trees in the background, and Jim shoveling in the street in front.
